Light assembly has been identified as a growth area as customers demand more added value from their foundries. Walker Machining Department Engineers are experienced in managing the design procurement and operation of custom dial-index machines.
Eight Giddings & Lewis Horizontal Machining Centers represent our currently installed capability. Additional CNC equipment is available to support the developmental plans of our customers.
Finished machined parts are often leak-tested after cleaning with our air-decay or mass-flow type systems to verify casting integrity. The part or assembly is then serialized for traceability and packaged for preservation according to engineering requirements.
